Haruka sat quietly at the end of
her bed thinking to herself. Mostly her thoughts were about the
mission. Weren't they always? That wasn't true though, she wasn't
thinking about finding the pure hearts or about battling youma
she was thinking about her love, Michiru. She sighed. It was half
past nine and Michiru was suppose to be home by now. This wasn't
like her at all. Michiru was a well brought up young lady and
always one time. ~ Come on Haruka give the girl a break after all
she's never been late before all the more reason to worry. Who
cares if it is my birthday tomorrow Michiru will be here. ~
Haruka thought to herself. But even though she did love Mich. And
trust her with all her heart she was sad. Why did she have to be
late today?
"Maybe she doesn't care after all. I wouldn't blame her it's
not like I'm fit to be loved by any one anyway." Haruka
mumbled.
She pushed herself up and walked out into the kitchen. The
apartment was so lonely and dark
without Michiru it was amazing Haruka was still sane. Seeing
nothing that would interest her right now Haruka began to walk
out into their small family room. She was just about to sit down
on the couch when something caught her eye. She turned her head
and was surprised to see Michiru's violin out of its case and
lying on the floor were someone could easily step on it.
"That's strange I thought Michiru said she was going to play
today with the starlights. Then again she did say she'd be done
by eight-thirty." Haruka said walking towards the violin.
She kneeled by the beautiful instrument and touched its string.
Although Michiru loved Haruka she had never let her touch her
violin. Michiru had told her once that it was the only thing that
had been her friend when she was a child besides the ocean.
Haruka smiled and lifted the instrument. She wondered how could
such a plain instrument make such lovely sound.
"It's not the instrument that makes the sound, Ruka, it's
the player who uses it." Michiru said quietly.
Haruka turned her head and smiled slightly. Michiru had been so
quiet opening the door and coming in. It was like she had read
her thoughts. But their relationship had always been like that.
They were so close it wasn't surprising that they could
practically read each others thoughts anyway. She let go of the
violin gently placing it back on the floor.
"Sorry Michiru I shouldn't have touched it." Ruka said
softly.
Michiru was then by her side. She shook her head making her soft
aqua curls fall from the ribbon that was holding it.
"It's okay. I shouldn't have left it out anyway. Hand it to
me will you?" She asked sweetly. Haruka sighed. She loved to
hear Michiru's sweet voice that was so kind. Not once in her life
had she heard Michiru's voice sad just like not once had Michiru
seen Haruka cry.
Haruka gave a nod of her head and lifted the violin gently
holding it out to Michiru. Michiru took it in her hands and began
to play her fingers moving the bow making such a beautiful sound
as she played, as was expected from her. The song became soft
then loud and dark then back to soft and gently were it ended.
Haruka watched as her lover played so beautiful and drifted off
into her own world. A smile faded from Haruka's face. She hated
it when Michiru went off into her own world and left her alone.
It wasn't fair. Haruka couldn't even go off into her own world
when she was racing.
Michiru finished her song and placed the violin back into its
case. She looked up at Haruka and smiled, "Sorry I was late,
love. I ran into Usagi-chan on my way back from the concert. She
stopped me and we talked some. She wanted to know if you'd like
to stop by her place with the others so they can talk about our
mission."
Haruka sighed, "No I don't want to Mich. Our mission is
different and they only get in our way. "
Michiru nodded and took Haruka's hand in hers. Haruka smiled at
her lovingly as Michiru led her to the bedroom. Michiru let go of
Haruka's hand and laid on the bed her head tilted to the side as
she watched Haruka.
Haruka's heart pounded in her chest. Michiru and Haruka had been
together for a long time but it was only two days ago when Haruka
had confessed her love to Michiru. Haruka also knew Michiru and
she wasn't the one to go very fast this wasn't like her. Haruka
gulped and ran a hand through her hair. Michiru laughed softly.
"What's a matter Ruka, dear? Scared I'll hurt you?"
Michiru asked teasingly as she sat up on the bed. Haruka smiled
and sat by her.
"Mich, I just want you to know how much I..." Haruka
started but was caught off by Michiru's finger against her mouth.
"I know I love you too." She said removing her finger.
Haruka smiled and gently took out the ribbon from Michiru's hair
all the way letting her Aqua colored hair gently fall down to
around her shoulders making her look even more beautiful.
"Michiru I just wanted to know were did you go?" Haruka
asked softly laying Mich. Back on the bed making sure her head
was lying on a pillow. Michiru's deep blue eyes looked up at her.
"I was at a concert with the starlights remember?"
Michiru said softly. She looked almost hurt that Haruka didn't
believe her.
"But the violin." Haruka mentioned.
"Silly girl you know I play my glass one with the
starlights." Michiru said laughing softly.
Haruka blushed she had forgotten that.
"I'm sorry." She whispered in Michiru's ear. She kissed
her gently as her hands fumbled with the zipper of Michiru's
dress.
Michiru kissed Haruka gently as her hands slowly wrapped around
her neck. Haruka broke the kiss so she could slip the dress off
of Michiru. Michiru took that time to take Haruka's shirt off.
They unchanged and kissed again.

(AN: remember it is now ruka's B-day)Haruka stirred and opened
her eyes. Her head was killing her. She went to move her arm but
found it was tied back. She closed her eyes and re opened them
coming to her senses. She gasped, ~ were am I? Oh my god where's
Michiru?!~ She thought. Her eyes found no one as she glanced
around frantically. She looked down to find she was wearing black
pants with a black shirt and a black jacket over it. She then
realized the reason why she couldn't move her hands. Energy
forces held them together. Her feet were also and there was an
energy force surrounding her. She frantically tried to escape
only to be shot with bolts of black energy. She flinched as the
pain surged threw her body. An evil laugh rang threw the room she
was in.
"Stupid girl you should have known you can't move. Haven't
you seen energy bonds before? You know the ones were if you move
more then a min, you'll die from the energy surging threw your
body. I'd be careful they're on maximum too." A woman said.
Haruka glanced around the room but found no one, "Were the
hell are you? Show yourself?" She snapped.
"Temper, temper. You're in no position to order me around.
But I'll be nice and do as you say for once." The woman
said. She appeared floating in front of Haruka smiling. She wore
a long black dress that was tight and pink see through material
was covering her arms (If you've seen what Wicked Lady aka Dark
lady wears that's basically it, it's only a little different).
Her medium length black hair was pulled up with a very familiar
red ribbon. She smiled.
"Hello Ruka or should I say Sailor Uranus?"
Haruka growled, "What have you done to Michiru?"
"You mean Sailor Neptune? Oh her, she's here as well. Would
you like to see her?" The woman asked sweetly and with a
smile.
There was something about this woman that was almost kind. Haruka
didn't care for it but it was puzzling.
"Yes I'd like to see her." Haruka snapped, "If you
hurt her I'll..."
"You'll what?" The woman snapped interupting her. Her
gently face turned cruel and mean, "Listen here as I've said
you're in no place to be giving threats to me Tenoh Haruka. You
should be glad I'm even showing her to you." She growled and
turned away dropping to the floor. She mumbled some things
unheard from Haruka and began to glow a dark red. Seconds later
Michiru appeared laying down and surrounded by the same energy
forces as Haruka.
"Michiru!" Haruka screamed as she saw the blood coming
from the side of Michiru. Her side was cut deep and bleeding
badly, Haruka knew she'd need help soon. The woman laughed and
disappeared into the shadows to watch the show.
Michiru opened her eyes weekly and looked around. She glanced at
Haruka and smiled. "Haruka you're..." She couldn't
finish her sentence. The loss of blood was too much and she
fainted her face a deadly white.
"Michiru no!" Haruka screamed. She held back tears that
wanted so much to escape. "I'll save you so help me!"
She struggled at the energy bonds and screamed as the pain surged
threw her body but she kept fighting. Suddenly she fell free of
the pain.

Haruka stirred and opened her eyes. She smiled as Michiru lie
quietly in front of her sleeping. Her hand weakly pushed back
Michiru's sweat stroked bangs from her face. She held back tears
as she saw the blood still flowing. Haruka pushed herself up and
laid Michiru's head on her lap. Michiru's eyes opened and she
smiled up at Haruka.
"Haruka you're okay." She said weakly.
Haruka nodded," And so are you."
Michiru smiled, "Dont lie. I'm not okay and you know it.
"
A tear fell down Haruka's cheek followed by another and another,
"You're going to be okay."
Michiru weakly lifted her hand and wiped away Haruka's tears.
"Don't cry for me. I'll be waiting for you."
Haruka covered Michiru's hand with hers, "Don't leave me. I
can't do this on my own."
"Hush now. Im not leaving you. I'll always be with you my
love." Michiru said as she took a breath. Haruka knew she
would die soon. It was getting harder and harder for her to take
in breath.
"Michiru I just want you to know..." Haruka began.
"Haruka Shhhhh let me die I can't hold on much longer."
Michiru said as she closed her eyes.
"Michiru no open you eyes god damn it! Don't you die yet,
not yet, open your eyes! I have to tell you this!" Haruka
said gently but roughly. Michiru forced her eyes open.
"I want you to know you've been the only person I have ever
loved in my life and I will always love you and no one else. Wait
for me." Haruka said softly. Michirus eyes brimmed with
tears as she cried.
"I love you too Haruka. I'll be waiting." She said as
she lent up and kissed her gently. The kiss ended and Michiru's
head fell limp and cold on Haruka's lap.
"Michiru no," Haruka cried and lowered her head.
"Happy Birthday Haruka." The woman whispered in the
shadows as she watched Haruka cry in pain.
The end.
As soon as I can, I'll see if I can post part 2.
