A Haruka and Michiru Tribute

Chapter 1 of (hopefully more)

----------------------------------------------

Two dark figures came strolling down the beach pier. The smaller of the two, who was blindfolded, came stumbling behind the other figure.

   “Slow down! You’re making me lose my footing.” The smaller one said

“I am going slow.” The other figure replied,” Michiru would you like me to walk?”

“Haruka. What do you think?” Michiru answered,“ I’m the one receiving this surprise and your more excited then I am.”

“I can’t help it, I want you to be happy.” Haruka gaily said,” Plus this does mark our 5 year friendship and our two year anniversary.”

“Where are we?”

“You’ll see.”

Haruka slowly lifted Michiru off her feet and carried her on to the ice-cold beach.

“I’m going to set you down, ok?”

“Where are we?”

“Trust me”

“Ok.”

Upon that Haruka took the blindfold off and carefully set her down, letting her feet slowly touch the sand.

“Oh. Haruka! You brought me to the beach. Oh thank you so much.”

Haruka said nothing, but gracefully took her lovers hand and kissed her palm.

“You always were better showing your emotions then you were with words."

Michiru jumped into Haruka’s arms and gave her a hug. Haruka put her fingers to her lips and motion for Michiru to follow. Michiru was puzzled but did not interrupt Haruka’s fun. They made there way to an extraordinary beach house, which Haruka unlocked. Upon seeing it, all Michiru could do was sit and stare at the beautiful house.

“This is also one of your gifts.”

“Oh Haruka! I love it so much.” Michiru said with tears in her eyes,” Haruka how long have you been saving up for this?”

And yet again all Haruka did was hold her lovers hand and kiss her palm. After doing so, she led her into the house, and in it were all sorts of articles and furniture. But still Haruka led her on and right into…

“The kitchen! It’s beautiful. It looks like the furniture from the Homes 4 you magazine.”

Haruka smiled and sat down into one of the near by chairs.

“Haruka? Did you buy this out of the article?”

She continued on smiling.

“Haruka? Did you? Please tell me? I’ll do anything!”

“Anything?”

“Haruka!” Michiru said with an odd expression on her face.

Haruka burst out into laughter at the sight of it.

“Haruka-Chan!”

“It’s just (giggles) the face you made.”

“Haruka-Chan!”

“What you should have seen yourself.”

“Well I guess it was kinda funny.”

Then they both burst into an unstoppable galley of giggles and play fights.

“Haruka?”

“Yes”

“Do you love me?”

“Yes,”

The candles were glowing brightly giving off the inscent’s inviting smell. While the reset of the world seemed to evolve around these two lovers. But at that moment something that neither of them expected happen.

Haruka leaned in towards Michiru’s palm, when Michiru grab a hold of her hands. She looked deeply into her lover’s eyes and whispered,

“ I love you too, Haruka.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And with those words they lend toward each other and kissed their first true lover’s kiss. Haruka began to lean backwards, as if she was attempting to find the ground. Michiru follow her lead as they continued to move slowly to the ground.
All of the sudden a gigantic flash of lighting lit up the room, which was followed by an earth rattling blast of thunder. Which stirred the two lovers from their embrace.
“Wow that was loud!” said Michiru,” Do you think it was omen?”
“No. Probably just a storm coming in.”
“Are you sure?”
“Well I haven’t had the time to get a TV in here so I’m not too sure.”
“Oh.”
“Well I better get the motorcycle in just in case. I'll be right back.”
“Alright, hurry back love.” Michiru said, as she Haruka kiss.
As Haruka left the house, Michiru had an odd feeling come over her. But she put it aside for she wanted to explore the rest of the house. Michiru saw a magnificent green door, with many different varieties of seashells on it’s covering which spelled something. As Michiru approached it she was able to read it better.
As she raised her hand up to touch the seashells she read aloud the writing.
“Michiru’s Cove.”
Thunder and lighting were clashing louder, and Michiru was starting to worry. It had been over half an hour and she was beginning to worry about Haruka, not to mention the anxiety to open ”her cove.” She walked back into the living room and sat down on one of the chairs.
“Ohhh. This chair feels sooo smooth.”
At the door she heard a loud pounding. Which startled her from her thoughts. Michiru didn’t know what to do, but before she could figure it out, in thundered Haruka.
“Haruka! Are you all right?”
“Yes, I was putting my bike up when a branch was struck by lighting a scratched me.”
“Haruka, you should let me check it and make sure it’s all right.”
“No, it’s just a scratch.” Haruka said with pain.
“Darling, I know when you are lying. You don’t need to hide your pain from me.”
Haruka looked down at Michiru and smiled.
“I’ll only let you mend my wound if you let me take you to one of your last official surprises.”
“Ok”
Haruka lead Michiru to the door, and opened it, with a small yelp, caused by the pain.
“Let me open it for you.”
“Michiru, it’s supposed to be your da…”
“It’s OUR anniversary. I should be doing something for you also, now move aside.” Michiru said in a half joking tone.
Michiru opened the door and entered into an aqua marine colored room, even the carpet was a type of green. On the walls were seashells and pictures of friends and “family.”
But what Michiru was most surprised at was the furniture. It was so beautiful. Her bed was crafted to look like a giant clam, and her pillow was a shiny white pillow in the shape of a circle. Her desk was a miniature castle, with storage places that looked like little walls and the chair was shaped to look like a gate. Michiru was so amazed by the beauty of the room; she flung herself around and latched on to Haruka, forgetting about her wound. At that moment Haruka yet again yelped out in agony. Michiru reached out for her lover’s hand and led her to the bed.
Michiru was almost to scared to lift Haruka’s shirt, for she was scared she wouldn’t be able to bare the wound. But before she did, she noticed on her shirt sleeve was a large amount of blood. Panicked, Michiru tore off Haruka’s shirt. Revealing the large gash below her right shoulder.
“Where are some bandages and ointment?”
“In the bathroom.”
Michiru returned with the materials needed to aid her wounded love. She unscrewed the ointment lid and squeezed out a small amount of the herbal liquid into her hands.
“This might hurt a little” Michiru said as she applied it to Haruka’s wound.
Haruka being the “Big Boy” she was, held in her screams and smiled. Michiru continued to apply the medicine to the wound, despite Haruka’s flinching. After the ointment was well rubbed in, Michiru bandaged the wound up. Haruka turned around and lend towards Michiru’s face, closed her eyes and kissed Michiru’s forehead. As Haruka lend back from Michiru’s forehead she said…
“Thank you, Nurse.”
Michiru smiled and helped Haruka put her shirt back on. By the time they were done, the sun had already gone down. So Michiru carefully helped Haruka to the bed. After the couple got settled in their beds they whispered to each other to have a good night sleep. As they drifted off to sleep, Michiru slid closer to Haruka and laid her arm across her chest as if to protect her from any farther harm.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Michiru woke up to an empty bed, startled she jumped up and ran to the door, realizing she was yet dressed ran back to her dresser where she found a pair of boxers and a old t-shirt. Upon picking up the boxers she noticed the words on it. She giggled at the fact they said. “If you think my boxers are a treat, you should see what’s underneath them.”

“That’s just like Haruka to get something as odd as this.” Michiru said as she continued to get dressed.

As she made her way into the kitchen the different varieties of eggs, salmon and pancakes filled the air. Michiru was intoxicated by the way Haruka looked hovering over the stove. Slowly she approached her trying not to inform Haruka of her presences.

“Good morning Michiru” Haruka said.

“How do you always know when I’m close by?”

“Michiru, I’ve known you for five years and by know I hope I know the way you move. Plus you have this uncanny way of lighting up the room.”

“You always have been a charmer.” Michiru said as she kissed her cheeks.

“Grrr!” Michiru growled

“Oh, Michiru-Chan.”

“What?”

“Must you tease me?”

“Oh be quiet!”

“Or what?”

“I’ll never talk to you or touch you again!”

“You can’t handle that.”

“Wanna bet!”

“Bring it!”

“Ok, I’m no longer talking to you!”

“Oh darn!”

Michiru raised her hand to in front of Haruka’s face and brought all but her middle finger down.

“Is that a promise of a treat?”

Michiru gave her an evil look and started to walk away. Haruka put down the frying pan. And chased after her.

“Michiru! You know this whole running thing is useless. I’m going to catch up with you.”

Michiru turned around and stuck her tongue out and continued running. Haruka ran after her, yet again, and was able to grab a hold of Michiru’s shirt. Causing her to fall. Haruka not wanting Michiru to be harmed by the fall, managed to slid under her to soften the fall. Michiru landed on Haruka causing her to let out a loud yelp of pain.

“Haruka are you alright?”

“Kind of.”

“What hurts?”

“Well my shoulder and my chest.”

“Why your chest?”

“Cause your sitting on me.”

“Oh! Sorry!” Michiru said as she helped Haruka off the ground.

“See I told you I couldn’t be quiet.”

“Dammitt!”

“But it doesn’t matter. Breakfast is ready any way.”

Michiru and Haruka walked hand and hand over to the table and severed each other their food and chatted quietly about life and the beach and things of the sort.

“I wonder how Usagi and Mamoru are doing?” Michiru asked.

“Probably off somewhere enjoying their honeymoon.”

“Yea, their wedding was so, wow.”

“(Giggles) Yea.”

“Isn’t it ironic how I caught the flowers and you caught the leg band?”

“Why do you think it’s another omen?”

“Haruka? What are you getting at?”

Trying to find a way around answering Haruka said, ”Ya wanna go back to “sleep”?”

Michiru giggled and smiled up at Haruka.

“You wanna race?” Haruka said.

“Last time we did that you hurt yourself…Last one there is on the bottom.” She said as she raced off to the bedroom.

“Hey now who’s cheating?”

As they raced off towards the bedroom, their Sailor Senshi watches went off. It was Ami with an important message.

“Sorry to interrupt your vacation, but I really need to get a hold of you two. Something life altering has happen to Usagi. Please contact us as soon as you get this via watch or telephone.”

BEEP!

“End message!” the machine screeched loudly.

After Michiru and Haruka returned from their “nap” they noticed the flashing button on their watches.

“I wonder who was trying to call us?” Michiru questioned.

“Probably just Setsuna-mama checking on us. Stupid control bitch.”

“Haruka!”

“We should probably check it any way.”

“Yea, Probably. But lets not.”

“Haruka.”

“What do I get if I do?”

“One more free hand.”

“Huh?”

“Any way. Before we do anything, we should probably get dressed so we don’t catch our death.”

“Yes Mama.”

“I’ll show you mama!”

“Come on I was kidding.” Haruka called out to Michiru as she followed her to the bedroom.

“Ok, now we’re going to listen to the message.”

“Okay.” Haruka said.

“Sorry to interrupt your vacation, but I really need to get a hold of you two. Something life altering has happen to Usagi. Please contact us as soon as you get this via watch or telephone.”

Beep!

“End message!” the machine screeched loudly.

“I wonder what happen?” said Michiru

“She probably gained more weight or finally passed a test.”

“That’s (giggles) not funny.”

“It’s probably true.”

“Well we’re just gonna have to find out.” Michiru said as she reached for her watch.
